Creating a purchase request on Kwayga is your first step towards sourcing the right suppliers, faster. Whether you’re looking for a new supplier or benchmarking existing ones, posting a request allows Kwayga AI to find the best matches from our global database of active and verified food and drink suppliers.

Here’s how to do it.

Step 1: Head to the Deal Centre and Click 'Post New Request'

You’ll find the Deal Centre on the main navigation once you’re logged in. Click ‘Post New Request’ to begin. A short form will appear to guide you through the process.

Step 2: Fill in the Four-Step Request Form

The more detailed your request, the better the supplier matches you’ll get. But don’t worry – not all fields are mandatory, and you can always choose to leave some points open for discussion later.

Section 1: General Info

Give your request a name and description. Choose the product category and location. You can also upload an image if helpful.

Section 2: Sizing the Request

Include information like estimated quantity, frequency, target retail price, and estimated cost price.

Section 3: Supplier Requirements

Tell us what kind of supplier you’re looking for – preferred supplier location, how long they’ve been trading, turnover range, required certifications, and even your current supplier (if relevant, so we won’t contact them).

You can work with your Kwayga account manager to include qualifying questions that suppliers must answer before expressing interest in your request. This helps streamline the process and gives you instant insights to compare and benchmark responses.

Section 4: Final Details

Set your deadline and choose whether to make the request public (the supplier will see your company name) or private (your company identity stays anonymous unless you choose to connect).

Step 3: Review and Go Live

Before your request goes live, you’ll have a chance to review everything. Once confirmed, hit ‘Go Live’ – and you’re done!

What Happens Next?

Once live, Kwayga’s AI gets to work. It scans our global network of active and verified suppliers and invites relevant ones to express interest in your request.

If your request is private, suppliers won’t see your identity – you’ll stay anonymous until you choose to connect.
